Date of Written Exam – 12.12.2010
Eligibility : Candidates interested to apply for officer post in canara bank,
* Age for Junior scale – 21 - 30 yrs , Middle scale – 25 - 35 yrs & Senior scale – 28-40 yrs as on 1.08.2010
* Must possess 1st class degree (educational qualification differs for each post)
* Computer knowledge (MS-Office, Internet etc.) is necessary
* A Candidate can apply for 2 posts
Selection :There would be Written test & Interview for Junior scale posts, whereas Senior scale posts will only involve Interview. The written test has Objective test (Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning,General Awareness, Test of English) & Descriptive Test. There is negative mark in objective test for each wrong answer .
Application : The fee of Rs.300(Gen/OBC) or Rs.50(SC/ST) has to be paid at any Canara bank branch ,using the fee payment challan(available at bank site) before 20.09.2010.Candidates will then have to register online through www.canarabank.com & submit the registration form along with necessary details,payment info.
