Job Purpose:
To decision on loan applications and creation of a quality credit portfolio through adherence to policies and credit processes.

Principle Accountabilities
1. Quality and uniform credit appraisal • Underwriting and approval of loans and ensuring that all credit processes are followed and policy norms are implemented.
• Personal discussion with customers to understand business, cash flows, purpose of loan, etc.
• Checking disbursements and ensuring collateral perfection.
• Visiting projects and properties.

• Tracking agency performance on TATs.

• Maintaining quality in credit underwriting amidst a high volume business flow within acceptable TAT.
• Ensuring business expectations are managed and the banks risk philosophy is instilled among all members of the consumer finance business.
