Recruitment of various posts by Tea Board of India June 2011
Tea Board invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts:
Publicity Officer: 01 Post
Qualification: Master’s degree in English Literature(atleast high second class) with ability to write with facility on matters of topical interest particularly those connected with Marketing and promotions. Preference will be given to candidates having Journalistic experience with some reputed journal for a minimum of 3 years.
Stenographer Grade-III: 01 Post
Qualification: Must have passed School Final/H.S from any Govt recognized Board with 80 words shorthand speed per minute and 40 words Typing speed per minute. Preference will be given to candidates having Graduation degree from any recognized University.
Hindi Typist: 02 posts
Qualification: Madhyamik Pass/School Final/School Leaving Certificate from any Govt. recognized Board with data entry capacity @35 words per minute both in Hindi and English.
Data Entry Operator: 02 posts
Qualification: B.Sc(Pure Science) from any recognized University. Data Entry capacity should be atleast 40 words per minute and knowledge of computer applications MS office etc
Junior Translator(Hindi): 01 post
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from recognized University with Hindi and English as subject. An Honours degree in Hindi will be preferable.
Typist-Clerk: No. of posts will be announced later
Qualification: 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Should pass type writing in English with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute or in Hindi with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer(35 words per minute and 30 words per minute corresponds to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key for each word)
Laboratory Assistant: 02 posts
Qualification: 12th Standard pass with Bio Science or Agriculture.
Soil Scientist: 01 Post
Qualification: 1st class M.Sc in Soil Science with specialization in plant nutrition and minimum 5 years research experience in the subject.
Application Fee: Application fee in the form of DD/IPO payable to Tea Board at Kolkata Rs.100/- (SC, ST, PH and Ex-Servicemen applicants are exempted from paying application fees)
How to Apply: Application to be made in plain paper neatly typewritten in double space giving complete Bio-data together with attested copies of the testimonials & documents in support of caste(i.e. SC/ST/OBC) and experience and should be addressed to the Secretary, Tea Board, 14, Biplabi Trailokya Maharaj Sarani(Brabourne Road), Kolkata–700 001. Closing date of receipt of applications is 15/07/2011.
