Key Responsibilities:
* Programming in C++ on Windows/Linux. Candidate is expected to demonstrate proficient level of skill in C++ on Windows/Linux. Candidate must have serious interest in programming and software development
* Development, enhancement, testing and support of high performance, distributed, real time, multi-threaded, mission-critical systems written in C++
* Latency monitoring, code profiling and performance optimisation.
* Ability to work in high pressure environment, in multiple projects, and deliver under tight deadlines
* Ability and attitude to work in global teams.
* Flexible in timings and work schedule to meet business requirements.
* Sense of integrity and ownership.

Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
· 2-5 years of C++ server side programming on Windows/Linux (mandatory)
· Multithreaded programming experience (mandatory)
· Network/socket programming experience (good to have)
· Experience of performance analysis, code-optimization, profiling using tools like Valgrind, Vtune, AQtime (good to have)
· Experience of debugging tools like windbg, gdb (good to have)
· Exposure to one scripting language Ruby/Python/Perl/Shell script/VB Script (good to have)
· Exposure to SQL and Databases (good to have)
· Any investment banking IT experience will be a plus
