Bank of India Recruitment - 2000 General Officers

Bank of India (BoI) is one of the largest bank with more than 3000 branches in India & 29 overseas.BOI recently closed online applications for recruitment of 2467 clerks.Now, Bank of India has announced huge recruitment for 2000 Officers.

Post - Scale - Vacancies :
General Banking Officers (Scale I) - 2000 posts – Rs.14500 - 25700

Dates : Online registration of applications – 9.08.2010 to 31.08.2010

Date of Written exam – 31.10.2010 (Oct 31, 2010)

Eligibility: Candidates interested in Bank of India Officers Recruitment 2010 ,
* Must be between 21 – 30yrs, as on 31.07.2010 
* Graduate with minimum 60% marks aggregate (including honours/ optional subjects)
* Marks will not be rounded-off (ie. 59.9% is less than 60% - hence not eligible)

* Working knowledge in computers

Selection : The selection process for General banking officer recruitment has Written Test (Objective & Descriptive) & Interview.Candidates must secure 40% in each of the objective test & 50% in descriptive test to qualify for Interview.For each wrong answer negative mark of 0.25 will be awarded.Based on the marks, they will be called for Interview in the ratio of 1:3 (6000 candidates may be called)


Application [No Fee for SC/ST/PWD/ExSM ]: The application fee for the post of General banking officer is Rs.400 (Gen/OBC/others) & can be paid at any Bank of India branches using the challan given on the website on or before Aug 31, 2010.

* The payment transaction number has to be provided in the Online application & submitted.The application printout has to be submitted during the Interview .
